Hamid's book would suffice for the constitutional history but not for political. In studying However, u should skip CASES mentioned in this book. It is definitely ample for constitutional history.

As per my approach i have studied all the books mentioned in forum regarding pak affairs I H Qureshi, Aziz, Rabbani etc coupled with a books not mentioned here but regret to say none of them seems to be much instrumental for preparing CE. The best method to prepare the paper of pak affairs is mannuly.

Examine the past papers there are many repeated questions and someone can easily guess the type of questions asked like about administrative reforms of political leadership such as Bhutto's demagogic nationalization Zia Islamic reforms etc some like causes of separation of east pakistan role of organizations like ECO etc. You can find a lot of material about these typical questions on net. But also read these books mentioned which will give you an idea of sequence of events and carrying more potential.

and last thing, dont overload yourself CSS is not about how much to read it is about how much to leave. just keep stick to past papers
