first of all sister have faith ON ALLAH ALMIGHTY and then on your self.dont discourage your self by saying that your expression is weak.do remember that css is not a scale to judge ur english and grammar this is a exam which judge ur analytical and administrative skills and check ur ability that whether you are well aware of current scenario or not . have proper command on english is only a part of this. you said that ur expression is weak.sister all experts and teachers have a strong opinion that students must use simple and short sentences instead of long and complex because in short and simple expression there is less chances of technical mistakes and also keep in your mind that paper checkers doesnot expect high caliber and technical vocabulary and expression from students they check that whether student have clear idea of what is being asked from them through question and whether they have succeeded in fulfilling the question's requirement. you must know that many times in css exams history mostly those students are failed in english who have foreign qualified it doesnot mean that they dont know english but they actually dont know the correct expression that how to attempt paper. you only need to understand the true nature of attempting question . for improving english do only 1 thing on regular basis that read newspaper and mark all difficult word search their meaning and then try to use them in ur daily life.and read editorials and try to reproduce them in your own simple language because in this way your expression will also improve and u will get strong analytical skills and u will also become used to of brain storming . i will again said that each and every aspirant have enough knowledge and language skills only difference is that some dont know how to answer and this only thing is must require in this exams so u must simple know how to write sentence in past ,present and future .i mean u should have command on tenses and thats all u require . then try to concentrate on correct way of attempting paper.dont disheart and discourage your self . because css is really a exam of nerves .ABOVE ALL HAVE STONG FAITH ON ALLAH ALMIGHTY .HE WILL DEFINITELY WITH US . if u have any query dont hesitate to ask .ok!!!! best wishes and regards

I see you have not mentioned Trek to Pakistan by Ahmad Saeed and you are right in it. I bought that book but opened it just once because this book doesn't say anything about the Reformers as Shah Waliullah etc. That book was a bad recommendation for a beginner like me.

my effort on partition of bengal,do check it please!!!
PARTITION OF BENGAL
Partition of Bengal was blessing for Muslims, because it afforded an opportunity to Muslims of Bengal to preserve their identity. This aspiration was completely miss understood by Hindu's who showed agitation against partition. FACTS THAT OCCURS PARTITION: was purely on the basis of management. Lord Curzon found that Bengal presidency was too large a charge for one governor to handle smoothly. therefore, idea to redraw boundaries came and to make Bengal into two provinces. 1.BENGAL:Population 54 million, a)Muslims=9 millions, b)Hindu's=42 millions, 2.Eastern Bengal and Asam: total population 31 million, a)Muslims=18 million, b)Hindu's=12 million This scheme was sent to secretary of state of India by Lord Curzon, officially approved and two new provinces were came on being on 1905. QUOTE:in DHAKA,(1904) Lord Curzon, addressed to Muslims and told them "Partition would invest Muhammadans of Eastern Bengal with unity, which you people had never enjoyed since days of old Muslims viceroys and kings. REACTION OF HINDU'S: Hindus opposed against this act on every platform and condemned this scheme.they believed that this was attack on their national interests. REACTION OF INDIANS NATIONAL CONGRESS: Congress regarded this scheme as an attack on "growing solidarity of Hindu Bengali nation" and described it as a "per-posteriors scheme" INDIAN NATIONALIST: They also consider this act as an attack on solidarity of Bengali speaking population,so they launched "swadesh movement" (Sole purpose of that movement is to organize boycott of British goods) REASON BEHIND PROPAGATING: In fact Hindus suffer certain amount of loss of business ,who just migrated from Calcutta to eastern Bengal the protest of Hindus was purely on selfish motives, nor based on national interests because it would less Calcutta commercial and professional supremacy. MUSLIMS REACTION: The Muslims rejoiced the partition as it was first act of fairness to Muslims of sub continent. they approved this partition and thought that it would be beneficial to their interests ,condemns Hindu's agitation. they also send the gratifications to the secretary of state of India ANNULMENT OF PARTITION OF BENGAL: From the day when new provinces established,Hindu's were against this scheme congress who claims to be representatives of all peoples exposed clearly and show agitation against partition. the Hindus launched :SWADESH" to pressurize British govt. they also started terror activities and started to hit high level officials of govt. initially British secretory announced that annulment has no chances but later on deceived Muslims. In 1911,sir John Jenkins,a member of viceroy council made proposal of reversal of partition and also to transferred the capital from Calcutta to Dehli Suggested that changes should be made by king on occasion of forthcoming coronation at dehli. At last only after 6 years of partition, annulment of Bengal was announced. MUSLIM'S REACTION: The reversal of partition was shattering blow to Muslims They start to protest and criticizing govt policies. It was day of mourning for Muslims. REJOICE OF HINDU'S: Hindu's were rejoicing on annulment. They also send the gratifications to British govt. Congress also celebrates on this unsympathetic act EFFECTS: The communal clashes occurred between Muslims and Hindu's. it also widens the gulf between them. Muslims understood that all India national congress is just protecting the rights of Hindu's. This also open the gates for getting separate state in future. |

Simla deputation:
THE SIMLA DEPUTATION"
=>The Indian act of 1892,introduces the principles of representations and election in India =>The Hindu's agitation during partition convinced the Muslims of futility of expecting any justice and fair play from them. =>To safe guard the interests of Muslims,Muslim leaders drew plan of separate electorates for their community. =>presented to viceroy lord Minto at simla on 1 Oct 1906 lead by Sir Agha Khan. DEMANDS OF MUSLIM DEPUTATION: a)The people of India should be given the rights of representation. b)To provide rights to elect their own representatives. c)Warranted more seats than population. d)appointments in gazetted services to Muslims. e)representative in executive council of viceroy. f)the seats should be reserved for Muslims in syndicates and senates of universities. g)Aid should be given towards the establishment of Muslims universities. REASONS FOR DEMANDS: 1.Joint electorate system 2.International scenario 3.Congress attitude. 4.resignation of Fuller(east Bengal governor,a pro Muslim) 5.Constitutional reforms. CONCLUSION: Simla deputation occupies more important place in history of modern Muslim India, for the first time Hindu Muslim conflict was lifted to constitutional place. Although it was appreciated by British government but sadly rejected by British government. |

Indian national congress:
Indian national congress:
back ground=>A.O.hume(1828-1912) a retired i.c.s officer founded all India National Congress Reason:he wanted to bring together the leading Indian public leaders to discuss the social matters of country. Change of scheme:later on Lord duffein, then viceroy change the original scheme of Hume, suggest that proposed organization should perform the functions of opposition as it was done in united Kingdom ,wanted to meet Indian politicians yearly basis to point out mistakes in administration and how it can be improved. Main reason for foundation of Congress: to act as a safety valve for popular discontentment and to provide peaceful channel for expression of Indian unrest to prevent them from drifting towards terrorism. First meeting:The first meeting of Congress held at Bombay on December 1885. W.C Bannerjee leading barrister of Calcutta was elected first president of Congress. Initial Claiming by Congress:after being into existence the Congress claimed to be the the spokesman and representatives of all Indians, irrespective of any difference socially or religiously. Attitudes of Muslims towards Congress: Two Muslims groups were formed politically a) Deo bandis and their sympathizers. shows the moral affection for Congress or joined the congress. b)Secular elements led by Sir Syed Ahmed khan. Did not join the Congress. Attitudes of British towards Congress: All Indian National Congress came into existence as a proposed plan by English officials for Indians to provide them a platform to point out deficiencies in administrative work and they eagerly want that politicians of sub-continent to show positive attitude towards Congress. |
