Trek to Pakistan (for pre-partition) Ikram Rabbani and newspapers (for post partition) |
Please tell author's name of Trek to Pakistan?
|
Ahmmad Saeed is the writer of Trek to Pakistan.
Also try to read Military and Politics in Pakistan by Dr. Hassan Askari Rizvi and for foreign policy consult Pakistan's Foreign Policy : A Reprisal by Shahid M. Ameen. |
Rabbani's book seems to cover both the Pre & Post-partition era, why then Trek to Pakistan?
|
well I think one must read Formative phases of pakistan of KB saeed... it not cover whole course or even pre partition part but it give good critical analysis and one can get references from it as well........

Trek to Pakistan is a good and comprehensive book. That is why it is considered best for pre partition. |
Trek to Pakistan (for pre-partition)
Ikram Rabbani and newspapers (for post partition)
I have got Trek to Pakistan and Rabbani's Pak Affairs, but Trek to pakistan covers the part from "War of Independence to The Radcliffe Award", Rabbani's book too does not seem to cover "The evolution of muslim society in sub-continent" elaborately. Please advise: Is that enough, what is given in the book or should I study it from other sources? |
