Adil Memon - Attention please!!
Dear Adil,
You have been very actively participating in the forum discussion and sharing your experiences. In this regard, please share your experience and approach adopted by you for preparing "pakistan affairs" paper. What books you recommend and how to prepare? Should notes be made by ourselves? Kind Regards

dear omer,
i am really sorry for not addressing this. actually this didn't go through my sight while browsing the forum. well, as far as the query is concerned, let me inform you that i was an average scorer in pakistan affairs. i got mere 45/46 in the exam. so may be i am not the person you should be taking advice from about the subject. anyway, since i had indian history as an optional, pakistan affairs was a very important subject for me. i read many books for the subject. the struggle for pakistan - i. h. qureshi the emergence of pakistan - ch. mohd. ali i found these two books the best books for pre-partition era. you'll find the best quotations there. for post-independence era, i studied dawn newspaper and different articles from internet. in the last days, i also studied: a short history of indo pakistan - edited by i. h. qureshi this book is the work of four eminent pakistani historians. the portion on pakistan affairs at the end of the book is just like concisely written notes. i liked the expression very much. i would recommend you to prepare your own notes. use sub-headings and quote if you want to score well. for objective part, buy any good book. regards,
