PRESS IS IMPORTANT MEDIUM TO exchange information between people.
the evolution of muslim press in the sub continent started by the maulana bakar with the inauguration of Delhi akhbar . it was religious , later , after war of mutiny , this newspaper was closed and faced british atrocities . in 1888 , munshi mehboob alam began paisa akhbar , it propagated islam along with journalism responsibilities .

sirsyed ahmed the great muslim leader , the was the savant of te muslim after war of mutiny .the first magazine published in english . its title was "causes of mutiny " . this try to remove confusion in the cognition of british , another magazine to explicit the services of muslim in the war "loyal Muhammadein of british" . its about the loyalty muslims persisted during independence war of 1857.
