Islam gives all powers to the Almighty. Man or Khalifa is His vicegrant and is supposed to apply His rule over the society.

Islam means to willingly submit yourself to God. It is human nature, that comes to humans naturally.
Islam is found in people, and democracy empowers people. I don't see any contradiction. |
