Book written by Ikram rabani can be helpful first up.
You can get desired political maps from bookshop or Google it

If you want to prepare this portion for Pak Studies then Ikram Rabani will surely do the trick. If preparing as per a History Subject then you should consult the following books

1. Tareekh e Hind by Sahabzada Abdul Rasool "Probably the best book on Indo Pak History in Urdu"
2. Indian History Book 1 by K.Ali
3. Muslim History of India By Mahadevan
4. The Last Mughal by William Dalrymple

Is 'Pakistan Affairs by Imtiaz Shahid and Memoona Shahid' worth reading?
It covers whole syllabus.
Waiting for your valuable advice.
