Yes, a very good step. We must follow how things are in the developed countries. Also, no need for age limits, your specialist knowledge and ability should matter.

only those individual who do ratta fication will have problem with this. It was my long desire to implement such system where we get field wise candidate. How come doctors will be allocated in PAAS or CTG and engineers in Informations group, Police service when they dont have prior knowledge in the subject, as the criteria is to pass 12 subjects of your choice rather than field which they want to allocate.

What about the candidate who has done BS( engineering or in other fields) but are not satisfied with their fields and want to switch it??????????
Yes a question may arise that why some people did BS in the specific field having no interest,,,, but we know our society and parents desires to indirectly compel their sons/daughters to do it. Sent from my SM-A7108 using Tapatalk |

Absurd reforms. Fragmenting civil services will further weaken not only civil institutions but also balance of power between civil and military institutions and will pulverize already battered civil servants by depriving them of common element(CTP). As for specialization, 200-300 people who qualify the existing exam CAN be expected to master their respective groups. However, if the government retain commons training system and make the exams less reliant on rote learning, then these reforms can be tolerable.
