csspoint has a lot of study material which was very helpful. you can also look up css related groups on facebook. i think the paper was less rote learning and more what my own views were about the topics and i excel at that perhaps. you should also go for understanding concepts which i think saves time rather than memorizing (which i suck at tbh)

idk about islamiat. if i'm being honest, my islamiat paper was average at best. if it was targetted, i would've failed without a doubt.

Bro if FPSC targets a subject then no matter what you do either you will fail in that subject or you will pass with miserable marks.
Tell you what I have seen a boy with 67 in Cons Law in 2019; this time he got just 27. Another boy is saying he got more than dozen mcqs correct but his overall score is 8 in TownPlainning.

Your subjects went low scoring this year. Many people have failed in these. It has nothing to do with your preparation. I haven't seen a single DMC having above 60 criminology; not sure if there are people in 50s or not.

Stick to same combination, do what you did last time and score will be diff this year.

So you didn't consult any book and relied on notes for gender?

I have the same problem as you and that is the reason I was happy after attempting the Gender exam as the questions were less about rote learning and more about understanding. I will definitely look into the resources you have mentioned.

I don't understand how this can happen.

Also in spite of being targeted there must be people who have done well or at least better than me in those subjects, would it be counter productive to ask them what they have done better in order to improve myself? I don't think so. Targeted or not there must be something missing from my side and that's why I am here to improve myself.

You did well in IR 2, anything specific which you did for this subject, also do tell me which book did you consult for criminology.

IR really interests me and I watch AlJazeera and TRT World on Youtube a lot.

For criminology, I mostly prepared from a youtube series and by googling the topics, no specific book.
