i want to appear for CSS 2021 exam and this is first attempt. I want to ask is leaving the whole history group in favor of other subject like Environmental studies a good choice as i am not good with cramming but at least in ES i will have a little help of my science background and analytical skills to prepare it better? i will highly appreciate a reply.

[INDENT]Yes, you can leave history group completely. It is not compulsory for a candidate to opt history subject as one of optional subject. Aspirant could opt any subject from any group. You may opt Subjects from Group III in lieu of History group. Public administration, Governance and Public policies, and Business administration are good subjects in group III. Score of these subjects in past is high as compare to historical subjects. Therefore, you may leave History group.[INDENT]
