Please help me out in selecting optionals,

I have done B.E Civil Engineering and apart from physics (200) marks, I'm uncertain about selecting other optionals. For now I'm thinking about opting these;
History of USA (starting from scratch)
Gender Studies (starting from scratch)
Sociology (starting from scratch)
International Law (don't know much about it but I have been recommended very much bcz its easy and marks rewarding)
Public Administration (starting from scratch)
Environmental Sciences (20-30% base)
Town Planning (although I have studied it but I'll have to start from zero again here)

Any sincere advice will be helpful
Thank you

I had opted physics and have engineering background, here are my suggestions
(a) don't go for ilaw because it is technical in nature and also it overlaps with IR
(b) you can go for ilaw alongside IR, but still IR is not easily doable,considering the fact that you are starting from the scratch
c) Go for subjects which are less technical and more general, like , gender, socio/anthro, criminology/town , US history
d) For environmental science, i would say , we engineers find the topics of ES less interesting, maybe because, we are more inclined towards physics and maths, but the fact that ES overlaps with general knowledge-| can't be denied. So,what matters in here is your interest
PS: highly personal opinion, Just wanted to to assist you at this crucial stage of decision-making . 😉
