Cell Phone in exam hall

Are we allowed to take our bags and cell phones in the hall?
If yes, do we inform the invigilators or do they ask?

My center will have a desk fro collecting cellphones, but i would suggest you keep it at home IF possible, otherwise, it might waste your time. In case there is no other choice, bring your phone. I'l bring my simple set with me tomorrow
