If I fail by some margin then I will have to appear again. If I qualify, I will still have to appear again as I aggregate won't be that GOOD.

4 months are more than enough if one has to appear again. Good luck!

I would need to revise, but going through the syllabus in two attempts has strengthened my prep already..

This was my first and last chance being over age. I can tell you about my previous preparation, so it was 40-50 minutes preparation of each subject. As I studied before going to exam , the time took me to reach my centre sitting on back seat of bike. Not only that I had to teach my friend too who was driving the bicycle. I am having a job so I hardly managed to get the leaves precisely required for examination. Left the office at around 1700 hrs one day before exam and joined on thursday after very last paper. So if I get clear, about which I am a hopeful, might be, I 'll prepare myself for viva voice without any academy and mentors. If I don't I 'll be preparing for Section officer promotion exam , SO , as it is called. I loved attempting the papers, it wasn't that much tough as I heard before going into the exam. Precis paper was tough but I am hoping will pass marginaly or otherwise. Essay as it is said don't know. Rest of the papers are extremely good, except science and ability, but 'll pass GK by combining III,
