Domicile Issues

Hi all!
I have an issue related to domicile, I do not have domicile of any province yet, I have permanent address of Quetta on my CNIC and living in Islamabad since 12 years, NOW I want to ask that can I have domicile of Baluchistan instead of Islamabad as we don't own any property there now? Also which will be good for CSS?

I believe yes you can have domicile since domicile is issued based on permanent and current addresses. Residence certificate is also issued for the issuance of domicile certificate. yes it may be good css exam but it depends more on your hard work and smart work. good luck.

According to the Balochistan quota, the top 3 groups hardly get 2-3 seats. If your top preference is the PAS group and assuming you pass the exams, so even if 1-2 Balochistan candidates are ahead of you in the merit list then you won't get allocated in PAS. To ensure you get allocated in PAS you need to be among the toppers in Balochistan (and they are also near the top 10 all over Pakistan). On the other hand, Punjab gets 30 or so seats of PAS. You just need to be in the top 30 to get allocated to PAS if you have a Punjab domicile.

So? Just analyze the results of the last couple of years there is at least 1 candidate from Balochistan who secures one of the top positions in Pakistan.

The first thing is clearing all subjects and crossing the 600 marks threshold. If you fail at any of these things then domicile won't do you any good.
Secondly, the domicile of Balochistan will enable you to secure a good group even if you are last in merit. However, securing PAS will be very difficult, as there are only 1 or 2 seats.
On the other hand, Punjab gets 25+ seats for PAS. So securing PAS is comparatively easier. But, you will find it hard to secure allocation in top groups with Punjab domicile. Generally, merit for Punjab closes at around 120-130 numbers.
The choice is yours!
