One reason for the delay could be the Chairman on holiday enjoying Test Cricket at Rawalpindi

Gone are the days of those rumors claiming the Chairman is gonna retire, hence, he intends to expedite the process to take part in the interviews

Seems likely. Considering that the result is ready but is still not being announced, with csps such as Hamood Ranjha & Nasar Hayat not sure about the exact date and keep on changing their stance from one week to another goes on to show that it all relies on the chairman now. He is making the delays and no one is sure why. This is so unlike previous years where atleast senior csps gave authentic news and result generally DID come out on their predicted dates/week. Don't know why we CSS'22 aspirants have to go through this torture at the hands of most prestigious institute of the county which had itself claimed to reduce the recruitment time when announcing the MPT last year.

Well, you never know when it comes to FPSC’s ways of doing things.

Just came to know from reliable sources that there was a brief discussion held today between the Chairman & one of the members of the Committee to decide about the day.

Key takeaway: the result is going to come any day before Tuesday(6 Dec.)

Well then this leaves us with only Monday, 5th Dec or Tuesday 6th
