For start, read Abdul Hamid taga's book for basic ideas. Understand all ideas in part I of CSS syllabus. memorize definitions or create your own definitions of basic concepts. For theories, read Macionis' book and consult YouTube videos. Do quote examples and explain the ideas with terminologies of sociology. Focus on presentation. Try to hit the question in introduction. Give the subject its due. Sociology would not give you 80+ marks. But it can give you 60+ with good preparation.
Understanding what sociological perspective is key to scoring good in the subject.
