A mere Failure

Hello All,
should I give CSS or not? A question to which I cannot answer or I don't want to answer myself! Well, it all started in 2012 when my father got posted to a small city before that my grades were good, I was in 8 standard at that time and I was one of those students who used to be the teacher's Blue-eyed boy... I used to be 1st in my co-curricular activities and among the top 5 students in class but the moment my father got posted things changed for me as I was from a big city it was difficult for me to adjust in a small city. I did not perform well in matric as I should've and so in FSC. I wanted to be a software engineer but my father insisted to do FSC rather than ICS. I got myself enrolled in COMSATS but due to various family problems(financial), it was difficult for me to continue so I decided to join Army... For the 1st time, I actually achieved something by clearing all the tests of the army but hard luck I was not on the final merit list due to low scores in FSC... After that, I was confused and see nothing in front of me I mean I don't know what to do in life It's like standing on a road that you don't know leads you where but my mum convinced me to do LLB... So in 2018, I register myself for LLB from the University of London which I completed with good marks... I mean better than many of my classmates but not so good... Now I have a sense of pressure on my mind that I should CSS... as my father's retirement is ahead... but there is a gut feeling that I cannot do it... I don't have that gut which it requires to do... I cannot share this feeling with my parents as I think they consider me a failure especially my father as one time he compared me with my sibling who is a doctor to be......
I am confused, I tried to study for CSS by myself but I cannot be consistent and I do not have any guidance as I have never interacted with CSP.
Should I join the academy?? or no I don't know what to do and how to do I wanted to share this whole thing with my parents but I am already a disappointment to them !!

Most of the youth in our country have faced similar issues as you. Nothing is new. Failure is part of life. Key is to trust in Allah and after that in your own abilities. That is the first step as without that belief any journey would seem hard and bound to fail.

Moving on to whether you should join an academy. There are 2 factors that come in my mind after reading your post:
1. Joining academy will not change your mindset. You have to change your thinking yourself. Further when you compete with people in an academy it might bring even more torture. So please think would you be able to cope with pressures of an academy.
2. On the other hand having proper guidance does give you an edge. Specially the well known academies with proven track record can help you towards success.

Wish you best of luck!:))

You may give my following words a notice in sequence...

1) Make your points to your parents also to your siblings. They understand better than you because of their experience. They know you better with their sixth sense. However, Interest and then consistency are keys to success.Plus in CSS/PMS creativity, comprehension, and then confidence are added to the story of the journey of your CSS/PMS.

2) Having a privacy of being depressed and different from the people of your other family members you talked about is not the solution to your issue. Take their point. and accept it if possible. To remove the stress from your mind. As sharing is caring.

3) Think of the opportunities you can avail for a career path, and see the capacity of your preparation. if you can manage to carve best and succeed after making an opportunity and your preparation meet for one instance Atleast.

4) See your skills, listen to your inner voice to choose a path of career, and think to select the way you can find for yourself to succeed.

5) Analyze your done degree/course and compare it with the path of career you want to choose.

6) See the available resources you can benefit from.

7) Choose the career you can entertain to the fullest/enough. observe each factor of interest or lack of interest. As it is UpTo your interest, consistency, creativity, comprehension, and confidence for the path of your career you can succeed in based on these factors. I suggest you to study purely for css it will help you in any course of career.
