I think there are two more ladies in the PSP cadre. One of them is a promotee. As you would know there are three modes of entrance into the PSP cadre.
a) Directee ( through CSS exam)
b) Inductee ( Induction from Armed Forces)
c) Promotee (Who are promoted from Provincial cadre to PSP cadre)

i.c., it means there are clear chances for allocation of lady PSP.
as regards 10 % women quota, was there any explicit mechanism published for women quota? if not then they cannot/should not simply cut quota of punjab for each group.
further, perhaps uniform quota system is followed for all government services. if yes then 10 % women seats should be given to women from top to bottom, am i right. css must not be the only specification...!
Further, in PMS LCs (lady cadets) are under training and some of them also passed out. it also means that lady PSP would be coming through channel No.b i.e. Inductee ( Induction from Armed Forces).......!!!!

In 1973, O.M was issued on 30/8/1973, which states that it is the prerogative of government to change quotas any time, it may deem fit.(Estacode). So, it can change it any time. Lets see what happens.

@Tabassum: Yes Lady cadets can be inducted into P.S.P but for that they must have 08 years of service.
@AMKM: Why have you not revised your biography? Have they issued the press note regarding that revision ?

Guys...why would PSP woman seat go to a girl from Punjab only? I think women quota is going to be a separate quota like the regional quotas and women from whole pakistan would be able to compete for it. Because it doesn't make sense that 45th merit would not get PSP because she belongs to nwfp but 240th merit would get PSP because she is from punjab. Comments please!

In the same way as 17th merit from punjab is not allocated to PSP but 98th merit from sind has been.

@Clockwise: Our federation is already in jeopardy. If women quota is applied separately then Punjabi female candidates will swarm in.It is pertinent to note here that no female candidate has passed from Sindh(R),Balochistan and A.J.K.
Merit quota already favours Punjab. So the mechanism of 10 percent seats from the same provincial quota is a better bargain than having none at all.
@555: In a federation all provinces/regions must have representation. At the present moment the educational, economic and social conditions are not equal for all the provinces. So the quota system is a safeguard for having the representation in central services from all parts/regions of Pakistan.
