Reallocation

what is reallocation and when it is expected. what will be its procedure. who will do it, fpsc or establishment div?

re-allocation occurs for those seats which are not acquired by candidates especially the repeaters,,,if they already had better groups then those allocated to them this time,,,they usually dont accept them ....and so candidates next in line are offered those groups if that is their choice....its all done by establishment ,,,,fpsc's task is finished,,,this is wut i think

I heard from a friend today that as many as 18 seats from different service/groups are there for which candidates have not sent their acceptances so far, and if it remains like this they will be offered to those candidates who lie below them in merit order. (confirmation needed)

One such case happened last year (36th common) in Sindh (U) where a candidate who was offered DMG withdrew and thus it came out to be fortune of those below him in merit. They moved one step up on the ladder... :)

any idea how many seats out of these 18 r from nwfp?are these seats allocated on whole Pakistan merit or provincial basis?

@Frozen

Dear,

I'm not sure about the exact nmber of reallocated seats but i'm sure of the fact that if the candidates from nwfp refuse to take a gruop then this vacant seat will go to the candidates of nwfp who are on waiting list. the same goes for the other provinces also..

yesterday i called the section officer of estb division, and i asked him, that so far how many candidates has sent their acceptance letter. he told me to call on saturday and he will let me know that how many seats are vacant. i hope all those who are waiting for re allocation will be adjusted. because one of our freind from balochistan is not sending his acceptance and i also know some of my freinds in punjab and nwfp, who are not sending acceptance letter, because they couldnt improve... let see, how many will join the 37th common batch. :thinking
