Exclamation CE-2009 Result and Problem in system

After going through the revised merit list I do not consider this blunder a system issue. If there is any bug in system uniform trend is found in all the results. Changes are not uniform in the revised result. System glitch is nearly impossible as evident from the following cases:

1)Roll Number:1007 Dildar Ali Sindh (rural) 892
Previous Merit:129
Revised Merit:116

2) Roll Number:3110 Sumair Noor Sindh Rural (Marks 873)
Previous Merit: 107
Revised Merit: 206

3) Roll Number:2581 Ayaz Ali Sindh (rural) (Marks 873)
Previous Merit:108
Revised Merit: 207

4) Roll Number:1673 Kamran Khan Sindh (rural) (Marks 843)
Previous Merit:113
Revised Merit: 379

Exclamation CSS 2009 reallocations might still be ambiguous

Hi !!

I want to point out a simple fact regarding the revised CSS result. A merit list is definitely finalized by keeping in mind the total marks obtained by each candidate and if there was any type of computer sorting error then it would apply to all the candidates that have scored equal marks. But there are some ambiguities in the result.

There are three candidates (MUHAMMAD ASIF AZEEM, HUSSNAIN KHALID & SABA ASGHER ALI ) that scored 874 marks and all these three were re allocated. There is no other candidate that scored 873 marks. This could be a mistake. But the case is not the same with the others.

The other so called mistakes like that in the case of 873, 844 and 843 marks are a bit ambiguous. If there was some sorting mistake by any type of computer algorithm then all of the candidates that fall into these categories should have been wrongly allocated in the previous result but this is not the case and only two or three of them were so called wrongly allocated. This is simple not possible. How can a computer algorithm commit a mistake by producing multiple results of a same input? Why some of the candidates that scored 873 marks were not placed at the adjacent slots of 108 and so on ..? This error is totally illogical. Hence, I think this corrected result is still ambiguous.

@ Raz:
Brother I do agree with you and do not consider it as a failure of system as many term it but still believes that there should not have been any room for such a mistake as the feelings of many people have been hurt. I think that it was a typographical error but in an institution like fpsc and an exam like CSS, the result matter must have been carried out with utmost care and correctness.
May Allah bless us all with the courage and patience!

Same observation from my side. I lost my belief in the authenticity of the result. It has shocked me and my faith in its innocence has been shattered.

same feelings here ...... I think this result should be challenged and FPSC should provide an explaination regarding this so called computer error .... I am really amazed by the statement of Mr Bhagwan Das that he is not going to conduct any inquiry regarding this .......

They have played with our career. I won't forgive them infront of my God. My result is the worst result one can expect. I can't digest this result.

Main sub kuch Allah ke taraf sy samaj raha hon, lakin hamain Allah ny senses bhi diy hain.

Brother, I have been following your threads and I have noted that you should have been in the top 100. This is my observation and from your interview, I assuemed you would be amongst the top.

There are many more examples I can qoute that candidates who scored 670 - 690 in written exam in 2007-2008 couldn't score above 800 overall. There is a complete flaw in the marking system this time and the interview panel had made their minds based on the written exam. I know of a typical example in interview that Bagwan Das left the room during the interview (a very unethical attitute ).

I know a guy who came to us for interview tips and he couldn't speak proper English. On my inquiry, he said that he "memorized" twelve essays and luckly one came in the paper which he attempted. Thus he cleared the written part and now he is amongst the top 300 and amongst top 30 in K.P.

I have a feeling that FSPC has lost it's credibility and surely so has Bagwan Das.

They are playing with the lives of people and FPSC have surely lost its credibility.... 1st they published a result without thorough checking … then they took it back and reproduced a result that has further augmented the doubts …
