Yes well my all compulsory subjects are attempted likewise. And muslim law too,where i secured 58 and highes which i have seen in this subject is 61. It is just to define backgroud of asked question,discuss future prospect too. And body of question must be filled according to demand. I hoped for 130plus in this subject. But paper went bad.

I agree to sadia shafiq...it's not that a subject is good or bad...it's just about the way one attempts the paper and obviously the way one has prepared the questions.

I have been given 30 + 41 in indo pak but believe me I was 100% sure that this subject would be failed bcz the worst paper I have ever attempted in my whole life WAS THIS ONE. Just remind the MCQS... All dates...

in history paper,one has to be a bit bookish because we can't change history.only the historians have this privilege.
my analytical skills are not bad.i have got 60 marks in ir paper,with much less preparation than in indopak paper .one has to be very analytical while attempting i.r.

anyways everyone's entitled to their own opinion,if someone thinks indopak is right to opt then they should.my opinion is that i have been treated unfairly by the examiner

I have read all of yours liabilities regarding the subject INDO PAK History In CSS exams.I have appeared in the CSS-11 exams with the above mentioned history subject.I got passed all the subjects but unfortunately, I could not get aggregate although it was my first attempt and that too with 3 to four months preparation because of my tough Electrical Engineering job.In Indo Pak I got 107(51,56) marks which is not a striking figure all together.But dear fellows I want to mention that all of yours concerns are true but the real thing is that opting and getting graceful marks in Indo Pak is not only drawing just maps because its not the paper of drawing rather it is the paper of narration, description,analytical approach,historical in-depth drawing of the facts worth significance in the long and glorious annuls of history.The simple thing is that don't follow just single author at least you should have two authors at yours study desk for the indo pak.

Yeah I admit,I didn't make maps etc but whatever I wrote that was not merely a heap of knowledge rather I tried to do it critically as English literature's students are used to.

I think they are doing quite injustice as what new a candidate can present in History ?

I mean Akbar has died,he is not doing new things so what examiner expects from us ?

after having a look of 2010 and 2011 dmcs, what i have concluded is that DO NOT GO WITH INDO PAK HISTORY please. css is a competitive exam so you must go with a very high scoring subject. i m sorry to say but i have heard many people to say this "indo pak lay lo Pak Affairs to khud he cover ho jaye ga", this thing has really misguided many aspirants.

this is my suggestion but many will not agree, i suggest these subjects for their good scoring trends, Socio, IR, Journ(worst in 2010), Muslim History(except 2010), US history, British History, Geography, Psychology, Regional languages and now Pol Science as well.

anyone can have a very good combination out of these subjects.
