Default Qualifiers! Suggest the best books

Dear CE 2011 qualifiers, please suggest the books yoy consulted for various subjects. Also, mention your marks in that particular subject.

It will be of great help to aspirants to select the best books.

A Book you mentioned for geography is very lengthy do we have to cover the whole book or some topics can be skipped?
which books you suggest for Geography 2?

No it is not lengthy. You can skip parts relating to Soil.

There is no specific book for Paper 2. You should use internet to get latest figures and data.

Trek to Pakistan would be sufficient for the pre independence and for post you could refer to any book... some questions could be covered with your preparation for current affairs so the post independence portion doesnt have to come up as a tough one

Current Affairs
Contemporary Affairs by Imtiaz Shahid
Quarterly journal of Institute of Strategic Studies

International Law
By Agarwal or that other Indian author whose name I seem to have forgotten.... you could even consult Starke but that would be a bit time consuming...

i have limited knowledge of english vocabulary , and simple rules of grammar ....

what shud i do first
1.to expert in english or
2.to prepare other books.

kindly help me by suggestions , bec i live in underdeveloped area of ajk. no facility of academies etc...
