A friend of mine had got 132 position overall while 106 in Punjab. In which group does he falls?

yes its from some one very authentic and the total no of seats at that time were 217. Now the news is that they might increase it to may be 240 atleast. I am not sure about the exact no of seats that will be increased. But 217 is the original figure.and what are your preferences

I got info from one of FPSC Official that there are only 3 seats for AJK - Customs, IRS and OMG - and one seat may be for women - don't know which group.

This is disastrous, as we were expecting atleast 5 seats. However, as noted below, there are rumours for seat increase to 240. In that case we would get 5 seats, i suppose. ?????

According to my calculations, AJK would at least get one each for DMG, IRS, OMG and PSP/FSP. In addition to this there is one PAAS seat of 2009 which is likely to be allocated this year as well, totalling the number to 5. But the news I get from FPSC is that there will be 3 seats - customs, IRS and OMG - for general quota. But again not sure.

I have strong gut feeling about increase in number of seats, though I have heard about this only from Cobra (above). This would result in increase in AJK seats.

Do you know the preferences of AJK topper?

Now, this sounds like a good news I really hope they do increase seats for Foreign services or PAS
If you get more info regarding the increase of seats, just keep base with me on that. Please!

My preferences:
DMG - I don't see any chances of that anymore, so let's forget it
FSP - I may get lucky
PCS - I believe no seat for KPK
IRS - I see myself ending up here
OMG
MLCG
PAAS
IG
Trade and Commerce
Police
Railway
Postal

source is the one who has the final breakdown of seats at establishment division. 217 was the figure till 29th May. There would be some left over seats while there is shortage of almost 200 OMG officers and a summary was forwarded to establishment division but so far no decision taken about that. So lets keep the fingers crossed and keep praying to Allah Almighty to reward the efforts of all those who have qualified the exam.
