@Usman Cheema

I would not keep FSP so high because FSP is a passion and a way of life, and only those people should opt for it who keep it as their first preference. For others, it is pure disappointment and should be low in their priority list.

I would bring Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service ahead of Military Land & Cantonment Group because MLCG has practically no growth beyond BS-20 and would bring Pakistan Railways above OMG and C&TG given the massive facilities and rapid promotion enjoyed by officers belonging to Pakistan Railways. I would also keep Postal Group above OMG, C&TG and Information Group because after 18th amendment, with many Ministries getting transferred to provinces a lot of Section Officer / PRO level posts in Ministries are going to get eliminated which previously were manned by officers belonging to these three groups.

If I had to take exam today, my preference list would be:

1. District Managment Group
2. Police Service of Pakistan
3. Inland Revenue Service
4. Pakistan Customs Service
5. Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service
6. Military Lands and Cantonments Group
7. Pakistan Railways
8. Postal Group
9. Foreign Service of Pakistan
10. Office Managment Group
11. Commerce and Trade Group
12. Information Group

@Hassan

May I know your reason for keeping Commerce & Trade above Pakistan Audit & Accounts Service?

well dear by profession i am a managemnet professional, working for a semi govt organization. In my current role i get to have alot of interaction with C&T group deaprtments and officers, so i have first hand knowledge about them

Ideally i wld want DMG. nut if i fall little down and cant make into the the upper groups then i wld like to be part of a group which is in line with my educational background, and where i can have great opportunities of self development. You commercial councilors are usually from DMG and C&T. C&T officers have a very specialized field, and get alot of opprtunities to get foreign trainings in the field of management and training.

So, its in line with my educational background.

@ Sandhurst
Thankyou brother for your precious advice. Infact I have a lot of passion for FSP, I would love to serve in FSP but only if I am not allocated in DMG or PSP coz simply I love them more than FSP and love FSP more than other groups. This is the reason that it is on number 3rd in my list.
Then I have put MLCG before PAAS because of its facilities which are far better than PAAS. Although I know PAAS provides more authority and quick promotion but I just not like that much this audit and accounts field (although I am already an auditor by proffession).
I will definitely consider your suggestion regarding Pakistan Railways and Postal group, I putted them down because I didn't know about these groups that much. If you can show the real picture of these groups in detail it would be of great help for the aspirants.
And yup you are very right about the future of OMG but I can't understand how CTG and IG will be affected by the 18th ammendment. I am sure you will keep guiding us in future also.

Regards,
