Today I received a call for security clearance from Police station. They will be visiting my home soon. Told me to get ready photocopies of documents, NIC and NIC of witnesses

The references you have mentioned in your security clearance proforma given by FPSC, them or you may also give CNIC copies of two neighbours..

Dear its special branch officer who will need a stamp of declaration from your two neighbors along with 2 witness,i.e, two stamp papers from your neighbours and 4 witness along with their CNIC copies.
Do take yours and your fathers CNIC
and educational documents.
he conduct a simple chit chat about your performa of security clearance that you submitted to FPSC.

what will be the modus operandi in tribal areas as no special branch or police system exist there.

kindly sum1 elaborate what is done in security clearance?
plz tell do we already have to arrane id cards of neighbours and witnesses?do we have to give photocopies or there id card numbers?we mentioned references and friends in our proforma ,do we have to provide their i.d cards?what if we dnt have theres.plz elaborate and guide what we are required to have for security clearance?

Dear You need following steps.
1) you will make two stamp papers of declaration from your neighbours. (Bian-e-Halfi) mentioning that
a) they know you ( your name and address)
b) how long have been you staying in that house
c) you are not involved in any political and sectarian activities/parties
d) you have no case against you in any court of law
e) you are a pakistani national
f) your mobile no( I was asked to mention it)

each stamp will need two witness. so per stamp you will have to attach CNIC copies of your neighbour and witness this means 2 stamps= 2 neighbors CNIC copies+ 4 witness

Then you need your educational documents copies, your CNIC and your fathers.
call the security officer and he will invite you for an interview. it will just be an informal questions regarding your family, education, residents etc.

Security Clearance is just a step to ensure that members inducted in any department/civil service are not/have been/affiliates of any anti-state/social activities. it is a mandatory process for any department just like the armed forces do for new recruits.
