Thanks brother for your kind suggestion but i am quite comfortable with this subject and my personal acclivity is also high to this one. what if i continue with the same combination as journalism was proved disastrous in C.E 2010...yaar i am confused really.

if you are quite comfortable then you should go with it, but at the same time you are saying that you are confused. Don't be double minded, hold your nerves, just have a look at the syllabus, past papers, available time, scoring trend and then decide which one to keep with firm belief and leave the rest to Almighty Allah. @alimallah.........brother i have appeared in PMS 2011 from kpk but failed in the precis paper.now in c.e 2012 after studied alot of books for this paper like exploring the world of english, word smart, GRE vocabulary Dawn newspaper etc but still my precis paper was not up to the mark. i m trying alot but could not hold on idioms. plzz brother help me

Actully you are taking it too much on your nerves. English is a language and no one can get over a language as a whole at one.
as far as idioms are concerned just use them into your writing and do practice for it. there will be no need to memorize them once you come familiar with it and you already mentioned that you read Dawn and other sources. And you can use forum for further assistance on your write ups.

Dear having hold on idioms does not really guarantee to pass the composition paper, although it helps a lot. Try to work hard on many other things like vocabulary, correct use of the new words, practice the sentence structure more and more, whatever you read, write it in your own words, have a look over it, find mistakes and write it again, in this way you can improve efficiently and remember slow and steady wins the race.

Your combination seems nice as I have opted more or less same subjects with exception to IR. I had chosen Journalism instead of IR. And my friend has got DMG back in 2010 with same combination. So fingures as crossed, lets hope for best.
