Well, as most of people are stating seats to be around 207 (except for carried over seats). If we take 11.5% of 207, that comes up to 23.805, and being optimistic, that can be rounded off to 24. 1 seat is reserved for minorities. Furthermore subtracting the women reserved quota of approximately 4 seats, the ending figure can be estimated at 20.

On a personal note, I don't know why but, no offence to all females, I am against this "Women Quota". When the laws are being introduced and enforced for Gender Equality, this thing sounds weird. It makes our counterparts are "Handicapped".
I mean consider someone who is next in the line for getting a seat and this "Women Quota" plays its unwanted role and the deserving gets deserted.
I am sorry, if I may have offended anyone. But it is just an opinion.

AWAIS javaid,
Gender disparity: thy name is civil superior services.
I'm against the whole quota system but it can be justified after you visit Lahore and RAZMAK ( north waziristan) on the same day ( surely by means of a copter) and then you'll curse the govt. and the injustice meted out to the tribals.
People die there of appendicitis and many minor ailments cuz of unavailibility of roads and health facilities. Same goes for educational facilities. So, though I'm not in the favour, but one can justify reserved seats for such hinterlands to compensate for the pittance given to them as development fund. But how can quota for women-- and such talented women-- is justified.
Ladies, no offence, but isn't it like you ppl are treated as an inferior lot just cuz of your gender. And I repeat: I believe in GENDER EQUALITY.

Dear you might be right when quoting Gender Equality. but see things are different. In our country, Females are bound to do certain jobs so preferring them means, they will be able to play a role model to all other females. Like every female will be inspired when she actually sees a lady on prestigious job and future.

Maheen Habib got FSP on merit no. 562 and Omar Masoom was allocated in MLCG on merit no. 30 in CE 2011 ; both hailed from GBFATa. And interestingly both didn't join 40th CTP. Omar's reason is glaringly patent; don't know about Maheen.
Sonia Shamroz from KP on merit no. 579 got allocated in PSP and Bilal khan on merit no 183 in OMG. CE 2011.
A girl who is capable of serving in PSP-- being a male my family won't let me join the service--was never deprived of anything in her life.
Again Hats off to both ladies but what about OMaR. Didn't his gender became the major obstacle in his career. Point to ponder.
PS: women, I respect you and want you people to be treated equally.

Saqib Bangash:
Motivating other ladies At the altar of a deserving male candidate?
Aren't we all the time whining about gender disparity?
Of course, female sports should be promoted but not by doling out funds for general education-- both male and female-- for that purpose. You cannot help marginalised section of society by depriving others of their basic rights.
Anyway, I won't go any further in this discussion cuz many friends often will get offended by my conservative tribal psyche.
Apologies if my words ached someone.
