If you still have a chance then please do not quit, avail your last chance but without expecting much. Let them check your papers again in your next attempt. Actually your paper might not have gone that much bad but the checker's mood didn't match you paper. By writing the same material next time you could be able to get 40+. Checker's way of checking matters a lot. Two different checkers will mark you unbelievably. So please do not quit and do not let them win at any cost. You are a brave girl. You will do it certainly in your next attempt IN SHA ALLAH.

Brother take you words back. Don't you see Sadia's marks in essay? You still have 37 just 3 marks short. Please don't lose hope and don't be so merciful to sacrifice your dream for gifting two more chances to FPSC. Why couldn't you say this, that i will take my revenge from them in my next attempt. Be a burden on them, let them check your papers if you can. And make your dream come true. You will, IN SHA ALLAH.

I will be appearing in 2014 Exam. But I am not desperate after this result. When you are in competition then you have to expect or you should prepare yourself for both type of results. It can be a victory or defeat! I believe on hardworking and faith on Allah Almighty. Although Many CSS aspirants are depressed after this result, but I would say Never, Never, Never give up

I would say only one adjective for you: courageous! You stood up against all those discouragements. That confidence is what you direly need this moment though the result has bring you to your knees. Gear up if you have any attempt left. I wish you luck.

But 5 marks for God's sake???? I know someone whose english, trust me, is not so bad. Actually, his command of the language is very good. He got 10 marks. He deserved more than that when he had written 30 pages in relatiely good english - even if he had not completely 'hit the topic'. I say relatively because another person i know got 22 marks, and his english was very poor at best.

my aggregate is 595. they got me failed in journalism with 31, which is pathetic as it is one of the easiest subjects and i attempted the paper quite well....... the point is whether i should apply for re totaling......... will it do any good.............. kindly reply w.r.t your past experiences

Do you know, I got 8 marks in essay. I attemted same topic as you took... I know that my English is not as bad as they have given me marks... It would would have been better if they had alloted me ZERO mark in essay instead of 8 marks... Disappointment haunts me.

Wow! what a result FPSC declared, you know what I have been preparing for the last 2 years; and I was quite hopeful this time I will qualify, but I was wrong I could not realize that FPSC give marks on the basis of year to year policy. In my first attempt when I did not have any knowledge or writing skills, I had a better result, but this time when I have far more better knowledge and writing skills they give me 5 marks in essay. I mean what a judgement , this is beyond my thinking. There is no place for us in Pakistan; there is no value for our efforts, emotions, and hard work. there are so many who could only get 5-10 marks in essay. Yar everyone can not be wrong. sadly, I am enough of this CSS and competitive examination. I could not have my meal and sleep for two days.
