nate what are you going to do now..I have the same situation here..fail in Muslim law.but aggregate is 600 excluding Muslim law

then definitely u shud file an appeal as well ..for me i will be going directly to chairman i have prepared all the necessary documents with me ..rest lets see and trust me you may get 778 or whatnot numbers and get failed in essay or précis ..its ok ..but an OPTIONAL SUBJECT deciding you fate then ITS HARD WORSE EXTREME SINISTER LUCK

You deserve to be selected as the moderator here is posting "Finger crossed" CSS-Rules "Finger crossed" and there is one thing that I want to clear. If FPSC follow rules then according to which rule they conduct the Faisalabad center Re-exam................... .........plz rectify me with the quote of rule stating re-exam.

Nate, my advice, you should fight your case brother, i am hopeful youll be called for interview. Study your case from all angles, reasd previous rule and new, gather all the info u can and make a nice case before the chairman. Hope for the best. if fpsc doesnt pay heed then surely seek the doors of court through a good lawyer. donot go for a cheap lawyer as this is a matter of ur career (life).

Called fpsc today. Even they think they have done wrong its time for an appeal

You may like to have a prior sitting with some insider in the FPSC to know the rule position, various aspects in your case as well as the procedure to go ahead.

And also try to check for the mark sheet available with the FPSC (of course through somebody , so as to rule out any typographical /computer/printing mistake.
