Keeping in mind the marking trend and both my results, I have come to the conclusion that CSS has a lot of luck factor involved than one's attempt and hard work . Even when I passed in 2012, I said it is 65% luck but now, I fully endorse it ..
Sir, i feel sorry for u, but this result has exposed the FPSC, that they are no more to be trusted. This year result has open the debate among the candidates of CSS.
Now after this result and ur firm believe on the luck shows that FPSC has become a party, which should not be. Agar 11k students exam pass kar saqtay hai, tou FPSC q villain ka kirdar play kar rahi hai.
Ab tou bus, banda kisi PEER BABA kay ASSTANEY par baith jaiye, inorder to mobilize his luck to pass the CSS Exam.

I would have been a CSP at the age of 22 instead of current age of 28 after a considerable time of 6 years .

Having said that, the compensation I got in other fields of my life, such as a nice companion, a good family and few great friends like you, coupled with my Current Cadre, my professional profile and present status of CSP means much more to me than my desired Cadre .

Regarding dreams, no dream is shattered. When I decided to attempt CSS in 2012 and 2013, it meant to me just a career move; not a dream. And regarding your dreams, they won't be shattered In Sha Allah. It does'nt matter what result you got. I still have full confidence in your capabilities.

So should i go with my father's choice ?
Attempt it before my MS?

Well dear, my optionals in 2012 included Geography, Business Admin, Stats, Journalism and Forestry. In 2013, I replaced Geography with Indo Pak History. Rest remained the same.

Thank you dear. Regarding composition, as far as my personal experience is concerned, one should make 2-3 paragraphs as writing the entire composition in one para makes it cumbersome for the reader..

Unfortunately, this subject remained strikingly low scoring for many years. The reasons were many; first it overlaps Pak Studies so one need not prepare pak study. Besides, it was the favourit subject of every second candidate before it was discouraged by the examiner. Why examiner discourage this subject. yes it is because when candidates show their interests towards any scoring subjects, examiner start to destroy its marking trend by giving low scores. Now in my opinion it may possible Indo-Pak fetch you good marks in 2014, but from 2015 it is again going to be discarded. Its your luck whether it may fetch you good marks in 2014 or not.

My feelings 2011 essay 30 2013 essy 30

3 saal pehly mera yeh khyal tha k CSS prize bond hai na bhi laga to nuqsaan koi nahi. mager ab pata chala yeh to lottery thi nikli bhi nahi or boht kuch sath bhi ly gae. 3 precious years ager proffesionl devlopment pe concentrate kiya hota to aaj itni takleef na ho rahi hoti. 8 month result ka wait krna sb se takleef dah part hai. na koi decision liya ja sakta hai na koi coherent strategy devise kr sakty hain. .
ksi ne ager skill develop or check krni hai to GRE or GMAT behtreen option hain. CSS ka result dekh k ap ko apni abilities pe shak hota hai wo zindagi bhar k liye ap ko la,shauoori khof main mubtila kr deta hai.
mery pas ek chance or hai or 3 saal. ager FPSC kisi standerized exam ki tarf advnce krti hai to i will other wise bye bye CSS.

reason : 2011 main essay 30 k baad main ne essay k her component pe boht tawajja di. punctuation, logic, fallacies, outline, paragraph, coherence, quotations , etc 2 saal bad ek esa essay jo mery Mphil k topic se match bhi krta tha, Economics not politics, mger phir 30 marks ne BUS krwa diti...

I am sure candidates are not being awarded as per their talent, efforts and hard working by the FPSC. Reason, Pakistan is on the verge of collapse it has nothing to give its youth. They are failed to give employments to the fresh graduates. Education is deteriorating day by day and FPCS standard is in totally contrast with the education standards. Had Pakistan been able to provide their youths with employment, nobody would have bothered to spoil their precious time in preparing such a lottery examination. It is a fault of government which brought so many candidates in this luck game. Hope that Pakistan would progress in a near future and things would change.

aap sab log kyun upcoming aspirants ka dil chota kr rhe hain iss tarah ki talks se k ye lottery hai ya prize bond hai or luck hi matters krti hai,,,thats all fake,,,your conversation is disheartening the new aspirants of 2014 and also aspirants in coming years whoever are reading this...so plz stop this and try to encourage them by suggestion and by telling them the common mistakes so the new aspirants of CSS dont reiterate those mistakes...:-(

There's always a silver lining respected members. What do CSS needs? A sportsmanlike spirit. People get fails but it doesn't means that they're gone, they can still exploit many other opportunities. Remember! "Heroes are those people, who do what has to be done, when it needs to be done regardless of the consequences". So the point is you all are heroes and heroes don't allow their courage to fall to the ground just gird up your loins and go after each and every opportunity that comes to your way. Good luck!
