That is what I heard too, blank sheets for both PCS and CSS examinations. Was told to practice on blank, printing papers to get acquainted with writing without lines, that too under time constraint.

I however, got a Pleasant surprise in the KPK Public Service Commission Exam as I was handed out a sheet which had lines, and well spaced too. Similar to the answer sheet I received for Matriculation examination. This, I was told, happened for the first time, and would continue.

Therefore, my friend, I believe it is highly likely the federal Service commission may follow suit. It will not only be easier for the aspirants, but also easier for the checkers. The news, thus, could be true.

You should still practice on blank papers though, but hope for the best.

@Arsalan. Dear, the kind of answer sheets you're talking about have not been used for the first time but it had been a case during PMS 2008 and 2011 as well. Regards

New admin at FPSC's helm has been full of surprises of far in its short stint. I personally feel answer sheet with lines will be used this time around not because they wanted to surprise people. It may well be due to economical reasons. However, it is not a big deal to write on the lined or line-less answer sheet as long as one can write. Ideally, practice writing on both types for a while to avoid any bitter surprise.

@ADIL KHESHGI
Is it?
Well it was my first appearance and I merely reproduced what the invigilator told me, that from now on only lined sheets will be used, and that It was the first time such sheets were introduced in KPK Public Service Commission.
I was not aware of the fact that they had been used earlier too, though sporadically as you say.
