Default css 2014 interviews and chairman
Hello
FPSC chairman Mr. Asif Hayat got retired on 14th August 2014. The seat is still lying vacant. He was appointed in 2013. When Mr. Bhagwan Das, his predecessor, got retired the interview pattern was changed to a large extent. Now 2014 candidates should be ready for some change in interview patterns.
Is there any news about who is going to be the next chairman?

Owing to current crisis in the country the appointment looks unlikely in the foreseeable future. In 2009 after the retirement of the then chairman, new chairman took charge after more than 6 months.

So far I have heard that Interviews conducted for CSS 2012 and 2013, Under the chairmanship of Mr. Asif, were in a friendly environment. No in depth questions regarding optional subjects were discussed. Candidates were fairly graded.

I appeared before his panel in CE 2012, that didn't go quite well. But I was so looking forward to seeing him in CE 2014 interviews. It just felt like we had history.

Now with the new chairman, back to square one!
