Dear I dont understand what is going on. Everybody claims to pass the essay paper. Then came along your Dmc , I also got 20 marks. There is some thread where a guy claims he wrote 5 line outline and 6.5 pages on great nations.
Seriously you are armed with the knowledge of philosophy which is very useful in writing mature thoughts in essay paper. Some people gave USA , UK and German examples which I find hard to digest as all these great nations resorted to fighting in ww1 and ww2 and prior to that their history is infested of fighting. Everybody claims to pass the essay paper .Are some people just looking at the trend deliberately passing themselves in essay and showing low marks in precis?

Essay 45 (Look to the east for a holistic progress. All senior csps whom i know told me im failing as i didnt call china, malaysia, indonesia east and instead wrote an Islamic point of view and pointed out that eastern civilization is doing real progress as real progress is social progress and not economic. Yet i passed. Lesson: Never blind follow and listen to seniors and give your best as to what you believe in. Support YOUR point of view (no matter how untraditional it is) with proper arguments instead of writing a traditional and "self assumed css examiner thinking pattern" point of view.)

Well brother i cant really say much if people are deliberately doing this but having said that this time precis and Islamiat proved to be disastrous for most of the candidates. Regarding the examples i think one has to defend his stance and that can be done by discussing both negative and positive cases, as nations which have won by fighting earlier now resort to diplomacy as the dynamics of politics have changed. Surely the knowledge of philosophy helps you a lot but i would suggest from my own experience to select a fairly simple topic for an essay and keep it as much to the point as possible and one should not exceed the canvas of the topic and what the examiner is expecting. Otherwise marks like 10 and 20 are on its way ! Good luck

Avoid regular use of "Netspeak" or other "cute" grammar or spelling (For example: writing "R U a woman?" instead of "Are You a woman?").
