The way forward
Many times in one's life certain moments come which completely change the outlook of life. One such moment came in my life when i was in 2nd grade. For the first time I failed a subject and got 31st position in the class of 35 students. I was heartbroken and ashamed of myself. I remained so for a week, then i asked myself what can i do to revert my past? I cannot get a time clock and move back into time. Nothing can be done about past but a lot can be done for future. From that day i started to look at my weak points and worked on them tirelessly. At the next result announcement my class teacher started to call names of the students who were among top 10, starting from the 10th position. I was sure that i will not be in top 10. One by one names were called and whole class applauded them. When teacher was to announce the 5th position she took a pause and said that all of you will be surprised to know the student who took the 5th position by improving more than 120 marks. Everyone in the class was shocked to hear that and so was I. To add more to this state of shock and surprise, my name was announced and teacher asked me to stand up. With trembling legs i stood up and whole class including teacher clapped for me. Fortunately after this event i never failed a subject in my entire school life.
After doing my O and A levels, i decided to go for ACCA. The 8th paper called F8 Audit and Assurance is considered toughest in ACCA and even the most brilliant students score in 50's. While the World distinction comes at around 82-85. I was very good at this subject and my teacher predicted easy passing of this paper for me. My paper went well but when result came i couldn't make it by 2 marks. This time around without wasting any time i identified my mistakes and began working on them. The result was announced in August and I ended up getting 76 marks. Now coming towards my CSS attempt, i was quite hopeful of making it but couldn't. Yes i am sad and shattered, the castle of dreams has broken. But now i think if i had passed it i wouldn't had been able to know my marks and work on my weak areas for next attempt. Actually i am thanking Allah that i didn't make it because my total marks wouldn't had gotten me allocated in group of my choice. So this goes to all those aspirants who couldn't make it. You have two choices; get depressed and lose hope or work on your weak areas and provide no chance to examiner to fail you. The latter is the way forward, the path of success and happiness. Remember it's a competitive exam with a final passing rate of approximately 2%. So lets move forward and give it another go. Lets build castle of dreams one more time avoiding the technical glitches of last time. Castle of dreams should be bomb proof and radiation proof this time :p For those who have no attempt left, Happy independence :d. Finally i want to congratulate three persons the most: Bilal, Bhudda and Gypsified. Best wishes to other qualifiers too. Allah Hafiz from my side till i achieve what i esteem for. |

@mhz99
Glad to know you're not giving up. That's all what matters, in CSS as well as (and more importantly) in life. |
