Friends let me discuss before going to the actual topic i have cleared 4 competitive exams of different nature in one row: AD MOD, Staff test MOD, TMO local govt. and PMS. My english and general knowledge have been tested in each test.
Keeping in view my previous record, i was highly optimistic regarding my CSS result too. It was however when announced, it was so astonishing that i am still unable to beilieve it. My approach was completely intact during exam, and i answered each question to the point and correct, still i have been given very lessy marks. Now, i have serious reservations regarding the marking system of fpsc.
To further support my view point, I would discuss each paper so candidates can have a better idea regarding everything.
Essay: topics in essay paper were tricky and i think candidates have been compensated in this paper by loose checking.
Precise and composition: I have been given 38 marks. I am sharing what i have written there. Candidates are requested to judge if it is was worth failing.
My almost 19 Mcq's were correct. The topic of my precise was " utility of intelligence and human survival." The contents of my precise are following
1. Human intelligence can be used for the survival of human being.
2. For this purpose, it should be instilled with social morality and empathy.
3. Previously, this responsibility lied with the clergy but it has failed to fulfil its obligation.
4. Resultantly the power has become everything to the man of this practical age.
5. Now, It is the responsibility of educationists to fulfil this duty so can the threat of nuclear devastation be averted.

Current affairs: my marks were 46 previous year though i wrote questions in bullets form. This year i have been given 32 marks, while my cousin, totally naive to current affairs, has been given 38 marks :-D

Islamyat: my marks in islamyat are 30. I m sharing my answers so that members can evalauate them themselves. I attempted it in urdu.
"Aqal aur wahi ka haseen imtizaj aj k insani masayil ka behtareen hul"
Ans: I just linked everything to ijtihad because it is the only way through which reason is applied and meaning inferred from Quran and Hadis.

"Discuss the limitations of co-existence and contradiction between islamic and western society"
limitations of coexistence= contradiction
limitation of contradiction= coexistence.
This is an english rule that the word "limitations" would also be used with "contradition" alongwith "coexistence"

I just compare both societies and highlight the areas where both can coexist and both contradict.
Rest of the questions were simple.
