Go to the Facebook page called Sarcasmistan and see the uproar there against the FPSC for this supposedly evil trend of failing candidates blindly in compulsory subjects, which has been ongoing for the last two years.

After CE2016 result I have come to know that FPSC is unjust and absurd department who deliberately fails candidates in one or two papers while neglecting their talent. I wanna arrange a procession to the FPSC offices for 3, 4 hours sit in, after 10 Muharam in October. It will not change CE2016 result, but may be next time they abandon this heinous act. Anyone who thinks that FPSC is an inequitable department, please join me for this just cause. Not only those candidates who appeared in CE2016, but anyone who thinks that FPSC is an inequitable department can join me. I'll go for sit in if minimum 200 brothers/sisters join me because it will look stupid if I alone go to procession.

Please reply who are with me and are ready to go for protest.
Dear, fpsc office is located in red zone . Any sort of public gathering there would mean taking law and order situation in one's hand. Get yourself ready for police chatrol if fpsc called it. I would suggest you to fight your case through media. Your voice would be heard around the country.

Dear friends plz do consider these two things:
1. honestly assess your performance during 3hrz of exam. even though you may b a good writer, these 3hrz do matter.
2. convincing the reader is the soul of essay writing. now here you are lucky enough if the assessor agrees with your point of view.

This is harsh reality. You have to face it. I'm flunked in these two killer paper. I did my best but it was not enough. The better way is to move on with life. We still have 1 golden attempt left. Maybe there was some fundamental flaws that hindered your true expression.

@Mohammad Ali: My dear i have also been the victim of the same policy so i am not here for the sake of fun. May be i get marks even higher in essay than that of Mr. Jamal Nasir who created this thread. Plus how can you plead for essay marks of a person just because she got 70 marks in precis. It seems funny. I got 52 marks in essay but failed in precis by very few marks so does it mean i start propaganda against a sacred service commission whose honesty is unprecedented. A girl name sana is also spreading propaganda at social media and at CSS forum just because she is failed in town planning an the reason she is giving in her favor is that she has been working in some kind of town planning institution for last 4 years. Oh really?? Come on madam. I appreciate the marks you got and i can equally feel the pain you are going through as i have also been the victim (if any one doubt it, i can share my DMC), But it doesn't mean that you start inviting people to create chaos and anarchy. And Mr. Ali if you can not blindly follow this policy of FPSC then simply try something else. CSS is not your cup of tea. Involving media or judiciary in this matter will do more harm than good as both of these departments will start using service commissions for their vested interests. So instead blaming FPSC, Prepare yourself to challenge this criteria through your performance.

@Jamalnasir: FPSC don't fail someone deliberately but they choose 300-400 best papers of a secific subject which they are going to target. So come out of this hysteria. Try to be best in every subject. And there is no relationship between CSS and other general recruitment tests. So you asking for placement in some other BS-17 scale job in case of non allocation is asking too much. Its not pragmatic. Its not the decision of FPSC but every administrative institution holds its own criteria of recruitment. Your English may be better than your friend but i am sure your friend attempted the paper much much better than yours. So your skills and frame of mind during those 3 hours matters alot. I taught precis to one of my friend. He got 41 and i 36. So does it mean i start complaining and planning sit ins.

@Bonaparte: You dont have right to information regarding paper checking criteria of FPSC. Thats why you are not allowed even to check you answer sheet. These rules are made by parliament and concerned departments and ultimately approved by president. Why are you comparing cambridge system with FPSC? Is there any similarity in those? IS cambridge system a recruitment body? Even my university had more open system of examination than FPSC but i have no right to compare those two as they are of completely different nature. In end, FPSC definitely have a policy. Its your turn to overcome all the hurdles created by that policy. Be the best in every paper is the only way to success.

@Javed Ahmed Abbasi: Strongly agreed.

P.S: This propaganda and social media campaign against FPSC by few individuals will fetch them nothing but waste of time. They are also wasting time of others. Such results have also been observed in past but did FPSC change its policy? NO. Its we, not FPSC, who need to change the approach.
