@Asuna I can't help :p surely they are not one thing, one is provincial and other is federal, but both are public service commissions. This news item is old but shows the effect of retirement of chairman. FPSC or any commission doesn't announce that our chairman is going to retire on this day etc. Have you seen any official notification that FPSC is going to announce result on this day. They don't issue such notifications.

One thing that I couldn't understand was how the results last year were released on social media platforms, a bit before the official announcement of the results.

FPSC is supposed to maintain secrecy, so if that could happen last year, then these rumors could be true this year.

That's all I can contribute to BUKHAAR OF CSS RESULT

On the date of the result, FPSC not only uploads the result on their websites but also post the result on the notification board in their HQ in Islamabad. In 2017, people took pictures of that and uploaded them on FB before FPSC uploaded the soft copy on their websites. The result never leaks out, these rumors suggest that FPSC itself will display the result at an earlier date.

They post result on their public notice board before, publishing it on their official site, an hour or so.

Hi iamuetian!

My question was rhetorical rather than literal as the news attached contained the retirement of PPSC, not FPSC. It was to point that out.

Sorry, I assumed that there would be some kind of notification that would be issued by them.
