I considered it but dropped this idea, even though having a master degree in chemistry and profuse interest, because of current trends and general requirement for pursuing CSS .

Then what's the advantage of Masters in chemistry to you?......Even studying till masters level, why are you going to drop this?
I have viewed the past papers and found them conceptual but if anyone tries to score good marks in chemistry then obviously this subject helps to gain good scores.

hahaha! you might be right, but sometimes play wisely and strategically is very requirement of the moment. As Winston Churchill said, '' some time it is not enough to do our best; we must do what is required'.

Chemistry lovers always stick with Chemistry in CSS which is natural but FPSC has been cruel and harsh on Chemists. I learned from my experience that Chemistry syllabus and papers donot conform. Its unfortunate that Chemists cannot score due to unforeseen adventures of FPSC in chemistry papers. Chemistry in CSS is a risky business.

Its not necessary.. If one goes through past papers of chemistry he will find thise papers are easy for a person who is masters in chemistry.. As far marks are concerned..marking is always relative.. if you have satisfied the demands of question and wrote to the point..marks are assured
