No proposal for change in eligibility criteria for CSS
'Pakistan Times' Federal Bureau ISLAMABAD: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has rejected reports appearing in the media regarding proposals for changing eligibility criteria for CSS competitive examinations. According to a press release issued here on Monday, the FPSC clarified that neither such a proposal was under consideration nor a summary was submitted to the government in this regard. The Commission stated that, approximately upto 12,000 candidates appear in CSS examination every year and such baseless news create chaos and confusion among the educated youths. The commission advised the CSS aspirants not to pay heed to such baseless news and should focus on their target. The chairman urged the media that before publishing such a news regarding constitutional and reputed institution like FPSC,fact should be checked from the office concerned and the print and electronic media need to be mindful of the damage such news can do to an institution.
