Mr. Amir Ahmed Ch. D.G. (Recruitment) has written in his letter that FPSC has sent the rules for CSS-2011 for approval to the Establishment Division with no change regarding urdu as compulsory or deletion of regional languages..
According to the wording of letter to the editor:

"It is clarified that the Rules for CSS-2011 are being dispatched to the Establishment Division for approval, and no change to include Urdu in the compulsory subjects or exclude any regional language has been proposed."

This statement confirms that neither Urdu is being made part of syllabus nor any regional language is being excluded. But what other changes (Age Relaxation, Minimum Qualification etc) have been proposed, there is no mention regarding this in the above statement.

Age Relaxation

Is their any chance about age relaxation in the next policy of FPSC for the year - 2012?

Witchdoctor Tuesday, August 31, 2010 11:54 PM

Why?

If no changes are expected in the css 2011 then why don't they make the rules and regulations for the css 2011 public? Why is there a delay by the fpsc?
@ SDM: please contact me at my email.

It is too early, last time public notice for exam was released on November 24, 2009 and submission of forms was started from 1-12-2009 and last date was 2-01-2010 and exam started on 6-03-2010. CSS Exam 2011 will be in the month of February according to public notice, so they can announce it in the month of October.

@witchdoctor,
yar all I knew I've already told you people.I'm myself looking here n there with my stomach in knots. an AD of FPSC told me this but he has no relation with me. some1 at FPSC gave me his official no n I called him.he told me about that summary which he had sent to ED in official capacity n it was on my firm insistence(pleading infact) that he spilt some beans. this is all from me.hope u get my point.

@ sdm

Did that official categoricallly tell you that a proposal about age relaxation was included in the summary sent by fpsc to the Establishment Division?
Brother just tell us that.
In a letter published by Dawn on 23rd August, DG (E) cofirmed that Rules and Regulations for css 2011 were sent to the Establishment Division for APPROVAL and there was no such proposal to oust regional languages. But he didn't mention any other important details. Furthermore, Fida Hussain, css topper and record breaker also says that age will be relaxed.
And if no changes expected then why would fpsc send the ruls and regulations for any approval?
SDM! Its through you and Muhammad Ali Awan that we knew something was going on secretly in the fpsc. God bless you both!

To another query, the sources within the commission said that the FPSC would have to make public at least two years before implementing the new mechanism.

CSS 2011 Age Relaxation

Dear Members AOA
It was the FPSC officials who floated the plan of Age Relaxation along with increase in education level. This is beyond my perception that the same official i.e Director Research who told it is now saying that the policy of age elaxation has been rejected internally by FPSC members.I woulod request to all the members kindly post only authentic informatiom and progress on the said issue instead of misleading the others.
Thaks.

@ witchdoctor only
may Allah grant all your wishes.
yes he clearly told me that his section has sent the summary with a proposal of age relaxation upto 30 for all candidates.but no change in qualification ,subjects etc. clarification from the DG also strengthens this as he didn't mention about age relaxation in his letter to dawn (to avoid complications if Govt rejects this proposal).Being a responsible member of this forum, I can't claim the responsibilty for this for the reason that what that official told me is correct to my optimum belief n I've told u this on your insistence(in good faith) but in my opinion the Govt may reject this (70 % chance) as the Govt did in the past on two different occasions. I would request you people to focus on your studies and completely ignore this to avoid frustration (if proposal is rejected) and stop this discussion untill and unless Federal Cabinet (that 'vaudeville cabaret' can give the final verdict on this proposal ,much to our chagrin)decides this matter.
