Exclamation Bhagwandas for making Urdu medium of CSS exams

ISLAMABAD: Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) Chairman Justice (r) Rana Bhagwandas urged the government to play its role to make Urdu a medium of CSS examination.

The FPSC has forwarded some recommendations to the government in this respect which have not been finalised yet, he said at the launch of a book titled ‘Sufi Shah Inayat’ at National Language Authority (NLA).

Bhagwandas said the land of Pakistan has always disseminated the message of peace and reconciliation among human beings and also welcomed outsiders with open arms. “Sindh remained rich with Sufi poets, including Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, Lal Shahbaz Qalanadar, Sufi Shah Inayat, and likewise the land of Punjab was blessed with Baba Fariduddin Ganj Shakar, Bahauddin Zakariya and Maadhu Laal Hussain,” he said, adding that Sufi poets have made these areas famous for love, harmony and tolerance. “The true spirit of prayer is to serve humanity dedicatedly without expecting any reward.” Bhagwandas said providing justice to people irrespective of any discrimination had always remained the supreme goal of his life. “I have served people for four decades by providing them justice,” he added. Head of Urdu Department at International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) Dr Najeeb Jamal said efforts are underway to make Urdu a medium of examination of CSS. Addressing the ceremony, Khadim Hussain Soomro said political developments of 20th century have resulted in various movements in Sindh and the movement of Sufi Shah Inayat is the movement that had existed for the centuries.

The Sindh valley is famous for true devotees and mystics who have a religion of humanity, he added. Dr Anwaar Ahmad said there were many people who took the credit for playing their role in restoration of judiciary but Rana Bhagwandas was the real personality who foiled the plans of a dictator. app

but we ll go for a big jump then as our (pathan) urdu is already not upto the mark and we make the muzukir a mounis and vice versa so I ll be doomed if this proposal get implemented.

also I hate that GARDAAAN thing in urdu grammar which we used to learn by heart back in school days as I have studied from an urdu medium school

I think Urdu will not be compulsory and candidates will have choice either to opt English or Urdu.

Gardaan ? I don't think that it would be included in any way.Let's hope we clear it this time so there would be no other attempt
