CSS exam 2003: FPSC recommends 208 candidates for appointment

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has recommended 208 candidates for appointments in the Occupational Groups/Services.

According to a press release issued here on Thursday, these candidates, who had qualified the competitive examination 2003, will be issued formal offer of appointments through the ministry/divisions/departments concerned.

However, they are required to convey the acceptance of their allocation within 15 days, failing which the post will be offered to the next eligible candidate.

As regards the candidates whose allocation is subject to medical fitness, it is clarified that the telegrams and offer of appointments to them would be issued only if they are declared medically fit by the competent medical board, the announcement said. Following are the group-wise names of the candidates recommended for appointment:

Default Strange allocations in 2003...how it could be?
Assalam-o-alaikum!

Accoridng to this list, there were candidates who were having positions like 102, 170+, 180+ and yet they got groups like PSP, DMG, CUSTOMS, FSP. How it could be??

Dear Brother AJ,

I think its because of the provincial quota.

Consider Sindh and Balochistan had their top scorers in the merit like 170+ or 160+. The seats of good groups reserved for them had to be alloted to their top scorers. So this might be the reason that those people securing low overall merits got those groups!!

This is just a guess. I might be wrong!
