Default Well Done!!

AoA,
Well done Ms.Aamina Ibrar and all those who cleared their written tests of CSS 2005...As for psychological and interview preps, just cool down and be urself for you see(to the sorrow of others and joy of yours)the competition this year for jobs is so amazingly low, even for the Punjab province, not to talk of Sind or NWFP...Just imagine how lucky have the written clearers been this year!! Thank to your lucky stars bros and siss...
Given the pathetic passing ratio in recent times,i guess there would hardly be 1.25 candidates per job this year..so easy-going...unbelieveable...i remember when i made it in CSS 2000....would you believe there were 952 written passers and 904 written-cum interview passers for just 204 jobs...its the biggest number ever for your info...
M just saying that to encourage those who have made it...the CSS job is of course in their sight...the success is indeed kneeling down in front of them...
For psychological test, just try to be what you are,,,,have a couple of ISSB,PCS,CSS psycho test books...read them relaxingly,,,its nothing, really its nothing as compared to 12 Everest peaks of the written portion..its rather interesting,i mean the pshyco test n psycho interview...its full of fun if you take it like that...
There will be 2 days for psycho test..1 each for written n interview..In written you will be given a couple of mental assessment tests to clear and a big 100+ quiz type stuff for personality assessment... The books will have already prepared you for showing in written your mental quickness/sharpness,so it will be no matter at all,,,even if you do it badly, just dont get discouraged ,for the personality assessment quiz and interview is more important than mental quickness test...
The next day early morning, you will be given a topic to discuss among yourself,1 each in Urdu and English,,,you will be at least 10 candidates,so everybody will be trying to participate in some way,so you also try to say something relevantly, but dont make mess,i mean dont try to cross somebody impolitely or come up with irrelevant stuff,or be too loud...
As for Command task,Just speak fluent English confidently and perform your task,,,you will be given 5/8 minutes and made say DCO or an ambassador etc.and given some issue to handle..but remember you have to complete your task in the given time, otherwise the Interviewers will be ringing bells to ur utter embarrassment,,,so better have time management...
As for pscho interview, just gaze continuously into interviewers and respond to them very politely....remmeber ,they will be asking you exacly from the personality quiz that you gave last day...so reply to them exactly in light of what you mentioned abt urself in that personality quiz....they will try their best to cross u somewhere, but if you are what you are, they will fail miserably and you will leave smilingly...
I think its enough for psycho test,,,,as for interview,,just dont miss current affairs, newspapers(particularly Dawn),Mags like Times and Newsweek....and yes, have regular revisions as well,,,try better to completely master the bones of the subjects, for you have already burnt the flesh of them in your written test.....
cya soon,,,,,,,,,,best of the best ahead, keep it up....
Regards
