Anyone has any info about the news that Secretary Establishment has refused to sign the Allocations 2006 notification sent to him by FPSC? The issue seems to be women quota. Please shed light on this rumour/news.

Est. Secretary is not happy with the way women quota has been applied. He is of the view that the women should have 10% quota in each department and should not be assigned the leftover seats from the lower departments. FPSC and Est. Div have been fighting over this issue for a long time. FPSC is of the view that women quota should not be applied from 2006 as it will cause issues and litigation by the candidates suffering. Est. div says its the governments prerogative to change the quotas anytime they like. Lets see what happens.
