Re-counting/ Scrutiny Procedure

Dear All,
I humbly request you to tell me about the procedure of Scrutiny and/or recounting of marks. Where to get the forms and stuff? Any links that are there?

I hope that the Comission takes these matters seriously and justice is done.

Waiting for your reply dudes.

One thing I must say, you guys are doing a great job so hats off to all of you.

Warm Regards

Imad

U have to get the "Challan form" from the F.P.S.C. headquarters and deposit Rs.200/paper in the National Bank or the State bank.

Write an application to the "Assistant Director", C.S.S. Branch, telling him which subjects u want Rechecked/Retotalled.

Submit the "application" and the "Challan form" to the F.P.S.C. office..........u will get the result in 15-20 days.

best of luck,

regards,

nothing to worry about, if u were directed by a person in the F.P.S.C. office, then i dont think it makes that much of a difference.

best of luck,

dr.saad here. i secured 726 marks in written exam with failed comprehension paper and appllied for re-evaluation as well.can any body tell,is there any precedence of passing after recounting?

AoA

@ saad, i was absent in forestry last year and my agregate was 595 with 53 in english and 56 in essay. previously i scored 150 in botany and 136 in history of indo pakistan in comparison to 105 in botany and 120 in history this time so i requested for recounting of papers of botany and history of indo Pakistan so i may get 5 marks from four papers to sit in the interview. it didnt favour me.

similarly a friend of mine scored 70 + in consecutive terms of css in 2003 and 2004. in 2005 he got 19 marks in english and went for rechecking/recounting process followed by personal hearing by Member FPSC, but al in vain.

i asked for the precendant from ppl in FPSC and they reply was in 'NIL'. they told that at least 5 different persons recounts marks consecutively. however, if your marks in more than 35 then you may think k perhaps you may get some one or two marks edge, but keep in mind k there is no such precedant.

so it mean it is futile to go 4 recounting do they offer facility of rechecking

muhammad saad Saturday, October 20, 2007 12:35 AM

thanx a lot, shabbir bhai.i think that they should give 5 marks pgm to the persons passing in all subjects. But it seems to have hoped against hope contemporarily.

muhammad saad Saturday, October 20, 2007 12:46 AM

is there no legacy of litigation against evaluation of pappers in the court of law?because such a stolid behaviour on the part of FPSC is reprimendable.kindly elaborate

muhammad saad Friday, October 26, 2007 11:52 PM

hi. has anybody recieved the response of fpsc about ongoing recounting procedure?what the latest in this context?
