Successful candidates get their mark sheet after the interviews when the final result is declared. So forget about the marks and gear up for interviews.

salam
after veiwing few marks sheet i have noticed that most candidates have failed to make aggregate.
i havent seen anyone fail in essay.
but IR,CURRENT AFFAIRS and INDO PAK history are the least scoring subjects.Hardly seen any candidate cross 100 in INDO PAK history.
Journalism gave good marks.
i think most of the cleared candidates have just 50% aggregate and some how managed to clear, there will be many candidates in 600 -610 or 620 something like that.
competition is going to be really tight.
i have heard that there are some 450 seats.is it true or a rumor?
regards.

from the perusal of DMCs, following trends are visible:

1. Marking has been extremely strict.
2. People have failed in GK (This time its not English).
3. Quite a large number of people are victim of 'aggregate' marks criteria.
4. History subjects have recievied severe hammering by checkers.

So i conclude that most of the successful candidates would probably have scored in range of 600 to 630

Default For Goof

Dear sir,
Gear up and make it more stronger for your coming attempt. Had you passed the exam with few more marks it would not have made any difference in over all standing of merit. The marks are varied from one candidate to another due to many reasons and few of them are listed below.

1. Copies are checked by different examiners and their attributes are varied.

2. Good candidates with their minds loaded with immense knowledge get themselves bog down and produce aswers carry relatively broaders scope.

3. Luck

Regards

Ali I agree with your point Number 2 and 3 but your 1st point is WRONG, because all the papers who are less than (2000) in number are checked by ONE examiner all over the country and all the papers having more than 2000 candidates (e.g compulsary subjects and Indo-Pak papers) ONE question is checked by ONE examiner all over the country and so on hence everyone gets equal style of marking. This principal is being followed since CSS-2000

Regards,
