AoA,

I am myself unaware of such occurrences, maybe someone more knowledgeable might be able to shed some light on this. In my opinion this is there to cater for any unexpected change the Govt. might have to carry out. Maybe for some reason they need more people or maybe they realize they might have over booked, so to speak, and then carry out a change. Both the scenarios are unlikely i think as these things are well though out, unless of course there is some emergency situation.
In my view this is just covering "all bases" and is put in such announcements for completeness and contingencies.

Regards

I think it would be ITG. But maybe u might have a shot at the women's quota seat in CEG depending on the preferences of other female qualifiers ahead of you.

I think you are a border line case. You have 50-50 chance of making it to Customs and excise. If not then Income Tax group is confirmed. But i am sure that you will make it to customs.

Best of luck

Thanks buddy for sharing the news. [came to know about that yesterday but couldn't get online]

Now as the picture has at last become a bit clearer (still NOT completely clear: refer to para 4 of the Public notice) we can make a closer guess about: to which group a candidate will be allocated.

I hope everyone of us get a good allocation and I pray Allah Almighty to grant us contentment and to enable us to live up to the responsibilities bestowed on us in our new postiotns as civil servants. (Aamen)

I wish to say to those who apparently do not seem to make a slot in the final allocations; keep faith in Allah and rest assure HE has kept something more valuable and rewarding in future for you and do not give up the zeal and positive spirit of life.
