At last some consideration at the top...

Dear fellow qualifiers,

At last after several emails I was able to receive a reply from one of the members of FPSC yesterday. It gave me some encouragement that people at the top are aware of the situation and are trying to get over it (atleast something is better than nothing

).

I quote the email, as I received:

Dear Arif,

Thanks for the message. We at the Commission are also cognizant of the problem but there are a lot of issues which are held up because the previous Chairman has completed his tenure and left on 29 March while the new chairman has not yet been appointed by the Government. There is no provision in the law for the appointment of an Acting Chairman. The interim arrangement is under active discussion and hopefully, we expect to overcome the problems after which we will be able to handle all such issues according to the laws governing FPSC. Be rest assured that THIS is one of the MAJOR concerns of the Commission.

I have also received a responsive email from the newly appointed member of the FPSC "Major Gen (r) Ovais Mushtaq" he says "We at the FPSC are also waiting for the appointment. Hopefully, it should be announced soon.

This above statement means that even the members of FPSc are also curious to get the new chairman appointed as soon as possible.
