This Year , according to rumors , 900 students have cleared CSS exam which is a great thing.Each year the numbers are going up . The thing thats hitting my mind is , what have been the future of those who clear the css exam but due to lack of seats don't get an appointment? What do they do (besides of those who reappear)? What advantage does qualifying CSS but not getting appointed brings to them !?

How can u say dat professionals dun suffer even if dey r dropped after qualifying written. fr instance i myself(An elect engr) was workin in TP(telenor pk) till end of jan 09. then i resigned to prepare 4 ma css supposedly by march 14 which eventually went to april 25. nd i was free in mid may nd it took me a month more to find a gud job n eventually joined Ufone in june 09. so this means in terms of financial losses i lost about 1.2 lac(4 month salary) nd furthermore had i stayed in my first job then by now i might have got promotion. I guess many ppl will have a experience lyk me. So dey do suffer!!

Yes, but just for a short period of time. It is a loss but not a suffering. Those with simple bachelors degree suffer the most for after exhausting all their chances, they are left with limited or no choice.

No pains no gain is what they say. u sacrificed yr 4months for this while others sacrifice their years in preparation. u no whot, there is a charm in css or none would happily go to dogs by failing it. if u get selected then u gain alot and f u fail, u lose nothing. in fact the time invested in yr css study is not wasted. it gives u an edge over your other peers in the dept in which u work. in fact it adds to yr overall know how of things. so plz dont cal it a waste o time but rather a utilization of time which u can well spend in other activities like watching movies, smoking, drinking and the likes. so no need to blame css or its failure my dear. its always a fun having new ideas n study for css. its a lottery every one knows. and every one volunteers to join this draw. if one is unlucky by birth, he should not blame css. hope im not over doing it. its rather realistic.. if we think..

yup broi do agree to u dat preparin 4 css does grooms u a lot even if u dun make it. Secondly u are cent percent right wen u say dat css z a lottery. i know 4 myself dat da efoort i put in was nothing compared 2 vot many ppl do. i personally know ppl who prepared full 2,3 yrz n yet cudnt make it. so i guess i owe a lot to blessings of Allah 2 have cleared it widout any significant effort.
