If u appeared in the css 2009 exam then its a negligence on the part of FPSC staff. If your form reached the commission late then why they alloted you roll number? why given you permission to sit in the exam?
you must try for your right even if you have to go to the court.

Asalam o alikum..

Go to court against commission and get you right... Its routine case... Good news is that the court usually decides in the favour of applicant in most of cases...

Default Late Submission of Application form!!!

@ mhovaida and All

Aslam o Alaikum,

First of all I feel sad because of rejection of your candidature. But you must contest this rejection in the court provided if you have the proof of your well-in-time submission of application form in the form of any receipt of courier service/Registry receipt etc.

Secondly with reference to your case I want to advise all the aspirants that CSS is a life-time opportunity and all of you must take extra precautionary measures against such 'Would-be' hiccups, given the type of out-dated clerical system of Commission that one has to undergo. Therefore Never Ever submit your forms via mail/courier rather spare yourself time and go yourself in person to submit the documents, come what may... Moreover, after submitting your documents save the receipt with you until you are not over with the complete procedure because you may require those proofs at the time of any initiating any litigation etc.

wish you all best of luck!!

which postal service did you use? pakistan post or a courier company? if pakistan post, did you register the post? do you have a receipt saved with you?

fpsc is generally unconcerned with postage delays. it has mentioned it in its rules. answer the questions first... i might suggest something then.

regards,

Default @ mhovaida

Well Mr Leopard was absolutely right that one must submit forms in person and get the receipt but i can understand this is not the case with everyone as every one is not living in big towns
@ mhovaida, if u used any good courier company like for example TCS, then u can get the tracking record from their website as to when they delivered the pack, and similarly the receipt signed by fpsc employee can be retrieved from courier company's record
but again as has already been mentioned that FPSC is not concerned with postal delays, it is entirely the responsibility of candidate

Question what nex?

Dear leopard and Adil,
alam.
sorry for delay.
on december,30 I faxed first page to FPSC and on the same date I posted form by a courier service. So I was contented that I shall face no problem.
After the rejection letter received to me,I approached the fpsc office islamabad. There I found that my form reached on jan.03 and no fax was received.
Unfortunately I have lost both courier and fax receipts. On the days close to closing date, fpsc emploees were on strike.I am of the opinion that my fax was not properly entered.More over I came to know by a Deputy Director that some 250 applications have been rejected due to this reason.

I am going to file an appeal in FPSC.Then,if necessary, I shall go to High Court.

Please guide me for the next course of action because this was my last chance.

Default Federal ombudsman may be the solution

slam
Dear dont u worry, may be fpsc will allow u to clear ur position within 30 days. Try to go there and get this issue settled. Otherwise u may go against FPSC to fedral Ombudsman . Filing a case there is free of cost and may not require any lawyer as well. But remeber that there is no appeal against the decision of the Ombudsman. If u can afford a lawyer than u may go to Supreme court or high court. But this problem will definately sattled down coz it is not ur mistake and fpsc should not allow u to appear in the exam. As it is not a matter where the basic fpsc requirments are at stake like age, etc. It is a pety matter and fpsc should ignore it but some people try to be smart. My best wishes are with u.
